How can I pay for treatment if I am insured?

Insured patients can be billed directly to their insurance companies. Often the patient will need pre-authorisation from their company. Their consultants will complete the medical section on their claim form. The fully itemised bill should then be submitted with the form to the insurers, either by Longfield Consulting Staff or the patient themselves. Not all patients have comprehensive cover. In all cases, the patient is fully responsible for their account in the event of a shortfall or their insurers failing to pay for their medical treatment for whatever reason. Our Longfield Consulting Staff can help with insurance problems, but are NOT in a position to guarantee that any particular insurer will pay the account. This is entirely the patient's responsibility. While this may all seem rather daunting and confusing, the actual process is in fact very simple. Please feel free to discuss your problems with our Longfield Consulting Staff.
